Fair Play Talk
Your Role Matters!
Whether you're a coach, a poet-athlete, or a spectator, it is important to know your game day responsibilities.
How is the Fair Play Talk used?: Our staff leads both teams in the Fair Play Talk before every competition to set a consistent standard of Fair Play. We encourage you to take these principles back to your team!
Best practices:
Create consistency across practices and games. Coaches, use the Fair Play Talk principles to guide your team at practice and games and to facilitate reflection of team behavior.
Share Fair Play principles with families and spectators. Families and spectators are an important part of our game day community. We want our poet-athletes to feel supported and free to express themselves on and off the field. Utilize the Parents/Spectators section of the Fair Play expectations to guide your communications. Please also refer families to our policy, here: Gameday Expectations for Families | Expectativas de Días de Juegos para Familias (scroll to bottom of linked page).
