Game Day Reminders

Happy Game Day! ⚽️🎉  Please read game day reminders to ensure you are ready to go.

1. REGISTRATIONS: Every poet-athlete must have a registration to play (online or hard copy). This is a safety measure: registrations ensure that our insurance covers them in case of injury. Register here: register.dcscores.org https://dcscores.wufoo.com/forms/x1di7lgi0jlhstv/

2. AWAY TEAM - BUS: Bus pickup is 3pm. Please be prepared to board the bus at that time. If you do not see the bus, please call the driver and check around the building. If there is no bus by 3:25pm, please call your site coordinator. The bus driver should have your number, but please get their number when you get on the bus so you can coordinate after the game.

3. GAME TIME (ES GAMES): First game kicks off at 4pm* and second game kicks off at 5pm. (Please see Game Day Notes for who plays first.) Games should finish between 5:45-6pm, meaning you should be back at the school between 6-6:15pm.

5. GEAR: Please make sure your poet-athletes have their gear: jerseys, shin guards, socks, cleats or sneakers, and water. Shin guards are required. Coaches must wear their DC SCORES coach shirts to be easily identifiable.

Please note: If you cannot play, you must notify your site coordinator as soon as possible. *If a team is not ready to kick off by 4:10pm, this may result in them forfeiting. Please see the FY25 Spring League Updates for details regarding rescheduling & forfeits.
